Privacy policy

Last updated: 22 July 2026

This policy explains what happens to information when you visit madam-vespera.netlify.app ("the site"), operated by Dimlight. Plain language, no fog.

1. What we collect

The site has no accounts, no sign-up and no contact form. We do not ask you for your name, email address or any other personal detail in order to use the orb.

Two things still happen automatically:

2. Cookies and local storage

The site stores one small item in your browser to remember your answer to the cookie notice, so you aren't asked on every visit. It contains no personal information and is never transmitted.

Our advertising partners set their own cookies — see the next section.

3. Advertising and Google AdSense

4. Analytics

Keep this section only if you actually install analytics. If we use a traffic measurement tool, it records aggregate visit data such as page views and approximate location at country level. It is not used to identify individual visitors.

5. Your choices under GDPR (EEA and UK)

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Where we rely on consent — as with personalised advertising — you can withdraw it at any time by clearing this site's cookies and choosing "Essential only" when the notice reappears.

Our legal bases are your consent for advertising cookies, and legitimate interest for security logs and basic traffic measurement. You may lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

6. Your choices under CCPA/CPRA (California)

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense of the word. Under California law, the sharing of advertising identifiers with ad partners may count as a "sale" or "sharing". You may opt out by choosing "Essential only" in the cookie notice or using the browser opt-out links above. California residents may also request disclosure or deletion of personal information we hold, and will not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

7. Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 where local law sets that age), and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

8. Data retention and security

Server logs are kept for a limited period by our hosting provider and then discarded. We use HTTPS across the site. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Links to other sites

Ads and links may lead elsewhere. Once you leave, this policy no longer applies. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other sites.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
